Flickr!I’ve just signed up for Flickr’s photo collection service. Drawn by its popularity, I guess having a third party to store my collection of photos ranging from aquastuff to my weddings would be a better idea. Since Flickr has merged (or in this case, bought over by Yahoo!) with Yahoo! it should be more than reputable.

Anyways… the real reason behind my intention of placing my albums on Flickr was mainly due to the lack of ’support’ given by my current hosters and basically me screwing up my current gallery. With the accidental click on a button, I ended up chmodding all the files in the SNAPS! gallery that I previously had to 777. 777 equates to the read/write/modify permissions and due to security reasons, I’ve removed it, along with that 2,825 photos in the database.

As pissed off as I was, I remembered that I had a Flickr account somewhere and sure enough, after visiting the site, I was automatically logged in (thanks to Mac’s Safari. ;] )

I signed up for their Pro account, which includes unlimited space and a 2 year membership stay with them.

I’ve updated the links here, they now like to my Flickr site – snaps_at_aquastuff.

Happy viewing :D
