La Casa – Our future home, about done.

In their letter to us, they indicated that they would want us to be one of the ‘first few’ to view the pool decks, club house, gym and new showflats of our new place.
I must say, we were pretty impressed with the main pool, as well as the hydro-therapy/lounge/lagoon pools as well. The choice of furniture and decor was chosen carefully and with taste. The clubhouse sports a nice set of showers for the would-be swimmers to shower off after a swim and also a KTV room, for the residents. The gym looked pretty small but had the main gym equipment with 2 LCD TVs to keep the treadmill user entertained.
From the pool, we could see our new unit. The plus point is that our unit’s view is facing the entire pool area, giving a panoramic view of the place. As I’m writing this, I’m imagining the view at night, with the lights switched on to create a resort-styled view of the place.
We went up to the showflats, which were the actual units and saw some interior designing work which were tastefully done up giving that “Manhattan” feel.
We might take some of the designs for our new unit in the near future.
I asked the sales executive who showed us around our soon-to-be new surroundings a question.
“So, how much is a 3+1 unit currently going for?”
“S$650,000 plus,” she replied.
Our mouths gaped open for a brief moment and I exclaimed, “That expensive?”
She said “Yes!”
We bought the place at a mere S$472,080. 2 years on, the increment is almost S$150,000 odd.
Anyways, here are some photos of the place, its not totally complete yet

Tower A2 block, where our unit is at, right above the blue portion.

A closer view of our unit. It’s the one above the blue portion.

A view of the main pool.

View of the gym house from another pool. (can’t recall which pool it was facing)
I’ll be scouting for I.D firms in the months to come and probably drop them the floor plan. Next step would be to have our home designed for comfort living, through and through.
